Asbury satellite launches in midtown Tulsa
On Jan. 21, Cornerstone greeted its first-day crowd all prayed up. Pastor Jon Odom said the launch team spent 800 hours in prayer before the opening of this satellite of Tulsa-Asbury United Methodist Church.
Conference updates video and song copyright licenses
This month, the Oklahoma Conference will renew the umbrella copyright licenses that permit every local church to use the extensive collection of songs and movies specifically licensed through two companies: CCLI and CVLI.

Work begins for OU Wesley project
Shovels hit the ground Jan. 8 for a symbolic start to a multiphase improvement project for the Wesley Foundation at the University of Oklahoma. The capital campaign exceeded its goal of $500,000 by the end of 2017 — instead, the total was $702,000.
